🏳️🌈 Pride is Protest. Pride is Power. 🏳️🌈 As we celebrate Pride Month, we remember that Pride began not as a party—but as a protest. It was led by brave activists like Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, who stood up against police violence and discrimination at Stonewall. Their fight laid the foundation for the freedoms we have today—and the ones we’re still fighting for. Across the country, LGBTQ+ people—especially trans people—are under attack. From drag bans to attempts to erase our identities in schools, sports, and healthcare, the assault on our rights is relentless. But so are we. We are strong. We are resilient. We are not going back. Hate may shout louder some days—but love, truth, and justice always win in the end. As you attend Pride events this month, celebrate, yes—but also remember the roots of our movement. There’s still so much work to do. And in the spirit of Stonewall, we continue to fight—and we will win. #PrideMonth #TransRightsAreHumanRights #LGBTQ #PrideIsProtest #StillWeRise
